The Eritrean Public health Association (Eri-PHA) is an independent and non-profit organization that stands for public health professionals.
Eri-PHA envisions the attainment of the highest possible standard of personal and community health for all Eritreans.
The mission of Eri-PHA is to promote and attain better individual, family, community and public health services and to maintain professional standards through advocacy, active involvement in research, and networking with all relevant bodies.
To bring together people who are trained in public health or public health-related disciplines for maintaining high standard professional ethics and conduct.
Provide opinion on all laws, regulations and directives related to the profession and suggest and advocate for amendment where necessary
Membership is open to all individuals above 18 years of age who fulfill the requirements of the Association as stated in this Constitution. There are three categories of members as identified hereunder. Membership is approved only after filling the appropriate form and paying the required fee.
I feel honoured and proud to make this statement, as the first president of the Eritrean Public Health Association (Eri-PHA), on behalf of myself and the Executive Committee of the Association.
The Eritrean Public Health Association is a non-profit professional organization established with the main aim of “bringing together people who are trained in public health or public health-related disciplines for the attainment of the highest possible standard of public health for all Eritreans”. The existence of such an organized body is of paramount importance to coordinate the Eritrean public health professionals to work for safeguarding and promoting the public health of the Eritrean People.
