The 4th ERI-PHA Scientific Conference and Congressional Meeting





The Eritrean Public Health Association (ERI-PHA) cordially invites members, public health professionals, researchers, partners, and stakeholders to our upcoming 4th Scientific Conference and Congressional Meeting.

This premier annual event serves as a vital platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and strategic governance to advance the standard of public health in Eritrea and beyond.

  • Venue: National Confederation of Eritrean Workers (NCEW) Conference Hall, Asmara, Eritrea

? Scientific Conference Program

The scientific segment of the event is dedicated to fostering research-driven solutions and academic excellence. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with cutting-edge public health research through a curated program:

  • Keynote Addresses: Two distinguished keynote speakers will share insights on contemporary challenges and innovations in population health.

  • Oral Presentations: Presentation of four peer-reviewed scientific research papers detailing recent findings and field studies.

  • Poster Presentations: Three interactive poster sessions showcasing innovative public health projects, data, and methodologies.

?? Congressional Meeting & Governance

Following the scientific sessions, the ERI-PHA will convene its official Congressional Meeting. This session is critical for the organizational growth and governance of the association.

The General Assembly will review, deliberate, and vote on the progress updates presented by three vital organizational sub-committees:

  1. Constitution Committee: Presenting updates to the association’s foundational constitution.

  2. Audit Policy Committee: Reviewing financial frameworks and transparency policies.

  3. Job Description Committee: Outlining modernized professional roles and scopes of practice.

Members of the General Assembly are highly encouraged to attend, participate in the discussions, and vote on the adoption of these foundational documents.

Membership is open to all individuals above 18 years of age who fulfill the requirements of the Association as stated in this Constitution. There are three categories of members as identified hereunder. Membership is approved only after filling the appropriate form and paying the required fee.
